Bharavaseya Hasiru

The greatest threat to our society is the belief that someone else will save it. We won't have a society if we destroy the environment, each and every one of us can make changes in the way we live out lives and become part of the solution to the rising global warming and pollution.
Every year government announces many schemes and rules to save our environment, activists protest for green initiatives but what are we doing individually to help ou mother nature?
To this question bharavase came up with a new project called BHARAVASEYA HASIRU.
People are aware about environmental issues but what need is action. This project was started not to create awareness but to act and educate the importance of greenery in our environment.
Bharavase aimed to donate / plant 5000 saplings or plants Every Year (doubling the number every next year).
We launched this project on Republic day, 26th January 2022, under the leadership of Nadoja Dr. Wooday P. Krishna. Our team distributed 300+ saplings with medical importance to staff and student present on the special occasion.
One the occasion of birth anniversary of Rastrakavi G.S. Shivarudrappa, team Bharavase distributed 200+ plants to poets, authors and the public present to tribute GSS.
We distributed 300+ medicinal saplings to general public and the commuters of malleshwara on WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY with the help of Malleshwara Police. Team along its volunteers organised a rally to create awareness about plantation and plastic reuse. Our next activity under BHARAVASEYA HASIRU was with the support of Forest Department in Jarakabandi Reserve Forest. Our team with the help of Forest gaurds planted saplings and donated plants for the reserve forest.
Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav, 75th independence day was indeed special for every indian. To celebrate this day our team distributed 200+ plants to staff and students of Sheshadripuram first grade college Yelahanka. 'Celebration begins with sharing love and care' India is a land of festival's and we celebrate with utmost happiness and celebrations. Festivals brings families closer and relationships stronger.
The festival of Ugadi marks the arrival of the spring season. It marks the beginning of a new era in Indian culture. Devotees worship Lord Vishnu, who is the creator of yuga, celebrating festival create bonding and memories.

We as Bharavase team celebrated Ugadi on April 5th 2022 in a different way by celebrating with Drivers of KSRTC transportation team. Most of the employees get leaves during festivals to celebrate with their families and spend family time but transportation team doesn't get this option as they always busy in making common people life easier in terms of travelling.

We did create small hope to make their day happy and to create festive wibe, we celebrated at Majestic bus stop, Bangalore. To make them feel special on this special day we gave them holige which is the main food or sweet of the festival.. To welcome this new year (ugadi is the new year for Hindus) we gave them saplings which is the symbol of nourishment and fulfillment.
