What we are today is because of our history, and more than being proud we should aware of the history around us. This is one our main event where we try to clean and develop the historical monuments around us with the help and guidance of Arenalli Dharamendra (mysurina kathegalu).
On 29-12-2019, we started Bharavase and from day one we have been striving to do only the best to the society. On behalf of our first anniversary we have come up with something very different that will prove to be useful for our society. We know many places with historical relevance and importance that aren’t maintained as they should be and have lost their integrity. So, we "Team Bharavase” under the leadership of 'Arenalli Dharmendra Kumar' sir ( ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಕಥೆಗಳು - Mysoorina Kathegalu ) have come up with a project "Someರಕ್ಷಣಾ".
Our objective will be to find these lesser known historical places and monuments under the guidance of Dharmendra Sir and try to bring back their glory by cleaning and tidying up the places.
As part of this program, guided by Dharmendra sir our volunteers cleaned 'The great trigonometrical survey point' also known as Bengaluru base line. This is the place where Lieutenant Colonel William Lamdon began to measure the whole of India in 1800 which was later completed by George Everest In the year 1937 after 137 years.
It’s high time to realise that much of our future lies in preserving OUR HISTORY.

Bharavase, this beautiful word from Kannada means Hope. And, just as the word means, we at Bharavase org have made a promise to the society and ourselves to constantly shine the light of good hope to those in need and have been keeping it ever since the birth of the organisation.
