Bharavase was born on 26th December 2019 on the streets of Bengaluru - not in a boardroom, but in the hands and hearts of people who decided that change could not wait. From day one, we chose to keep ourselves lean and purposeful - channelling every resource, every effort, every moment directly toward impact. That philosophy hasn't changed.
What began as a whisper of intention grew into a roar of action. Every volunteer who joined, every college student who showed up, every professional who gave their weekend - they didn't just contribute to Bharavase. They became Bharavase. This is not an organisation run by a few. It is a movement owned by thousands.
Today, Bharavase is a movement - powered by 1,000+ volunteers, strengthened by partnerships with leading college institutions across Karnataka, and fuelled by students, working professionals, and entrepreneurs who give their time, skills, and passion to serve the communities around them.
Officially registered on 7th July 2021 under the Karnataka State Registration and Stamps Department, Bharavase holds 80G and 12A tax exemption status and is a CSR-registered organisation - making every donation a legitimate, impactful investment in social change. We are further strengthened by the CSR support of multiple corporate partners who believe, as we do, that business and social responsibility go hand in hand.
